Wednesday 28th June 2017 – Falling Waters

Today we left Moon & Cherie’s place to venture out on our own for awhile to kill a bit of time till the rest of the crew are ready to start their holiday.  We didn’t go far just about an hour north of Panama City to a state park called ‘Falling Waters’ so named for it’s waterfall which is 73ft and is Florida’s highest waterfall.  This is no mean feat as Florida is as flat as a pancake.  We are camped on one of Florida’s highest hills which is 324ft above sea level.  Now I know you’re impressed.

The waterfall cascades down into a sink hole

                                                            This is the sink hole

A friendly squirrel came to visit
