Well, all good things must come to an end. We spent our last night out at Florida Caverns and then played golf at the course next door. We didn't do too bad considering that was only our second game since we've been away from home.
We didn't do a tour of the caverns as we had done that the last time we were here but we walked one of the trails which has a section where you have to duck your head for about 100 ft to get through to the other side.
The trail led us to the floodplain with all the buttress rooted trees.
Thursday 19th October 2017
We're now back in Panama City to clean up and pack up ready to fly home on Monday 23rd October. We've travelled over 7,000 miles and as far north as Kingston in Canada. It's been a great adventure with many laughs along the way and a few scary bits as well that all added to the story of our trip. Looking forward to a meat pie and roast lamb when we get home as they are non existent here in the US. I wont miss their bread or bacon at all.
This is our map which shows our trip. The west is where we went in 2010 and the east is where we've been on this trip.
Minnie has had a great time but is very excited to be going back home to stay with Tara and Jamie as she has missed them lots.
