Today we've travelled along route 84 heading for Victor which is a small town not far from Jackson Hole and the Grand Tetons where John and Stacha are to attend a wedding. We were on the other side of the Tetons a couple of months ago. We found some great things along the way. The first was Malad Canyon and the Thousand Springs. When you stop and look there are literally thousands of waterfalls pouring out of the walls of the canyon. The area is all volcanic and the rock that forms the walls of the canyon is so porous that the water from the springs just pours out of the walls of the canyon. A fabulous phenomenon.
We found a great campsite at Miracle Hot Springs where we enjoyed the hot water for the afternoon and even went back after tea for a night time soak. They also have private pools that you can hire for an extra $4 an hour which the locals call the soak and poke rooms. I'll leave that to your imagination.
Flat out like a lizard drinking
Who's that peaking out the window?
Stacha's fountain impersonation

Heading a little further we found the Shoshone Falls which are considered to be the Niagara Falls of the west and were certainly impressive. That is definitely the biggest waterfall I have seen since Niagara last year. Moving further along our route we then came
This is where Evel Knievel attempted to jump the canyon in a rocket but missed and landed in the bottom of the canyon but luckily only broke his nose on that occasion.
The last stop of the day was at Perrine Bridge which spanned over the Snake River and was very picturesque.
How's this for a golf course? Tee off from the cliff to the green below.
We've arrived at Moose Ranch for 3 days for the wedding.
