Sleepless in Seattle - Thursday 24th - Tuesday 29th June 2010

We've now travelled on to Puyallup near Tacoma which is about half an hours drive out of Seattle in Washington.  We are camped in the backyard of John's niece's house.  There was a huge gathering of the family for Judy's 70th birthday.  On Saturday Anne and Jerry had organised for their friends to take us all out in their cruisers on Puget Sound for the day.  Five boats in all.  It was cold and overcast when we first took off but as we arrived at the dock where we were to have lunch the sun came out.  Lot's more to eat and drink (it's been non stop since we arrived here).  We had a spectacular view of Mount Ranier and the Seattle skyline.

We eventually got back to the house where we started on the karaoke which didn't end till about 3 am.
Stacha turned it on as usual

On Sunday morning we all fronted up to the Lobster Shop which is a lovely restaurant on the edge of the sound for an all you can eat brunch.  We then went for a drive into Seattle where we went to the markets and a lookout over the city.
