Friday 7th July – Paynes Prairie Reserve FL

Today we left the campground at Rainbow Springs and drove up the spring headwaters where there is a beautiful blue pool for swimming.  The water is cold but very nice.  After swimming we had a picnic lunch and then drove out to Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park.

Went for a bike ride up to the visitors centre and did a short walk through the bush to an observation tower.
