Saturday 29th July 2017 - Travelling to Cleveland OH

Had a lovely drive today through the hills of the Amish country with all the horse drawn carriages and the working horses in the fields.  They even had their washing hanging on the line which is something normal Americans don't do.  We stopped for lunch at Carlisle Reservation where they have a gigantic bald eagle nest.  It is over 12 feet high and was brought down from 90 feet up a tree and taken to the park.  It took over 35 years for the eagles to build.

We then moved on to camp at Silver Springs Corps or Engineers park for $12 a night situated in Stow just south of Cleveland

Sunday 30th July 2017 - Cleveland OH

Went to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.  It was awesome.  We were in there for over 5 hours and still didn't see everthing, highly recommended.

Jimmy Hendrix guitars

ELO and Pearl Jam are two of the inductees into the hall of fame for 2017 so there was a special display on them.  Travis you would have loved it.  Lots of stuff on Metallica, ZZ Top, Devo and too many more to mention.

After we left the hall of fame we called in at the Lakeview Cemetary to see the Angel of Death Statue at the Herespot gravesite where the statue has stains resembling tears pouring down her face.

We also found the memorial for James Garfield who was a past  president of the US.  Apparently he was only president for four months after which he was shot by another disgruntled parliamentarian.  There you go.
