Tuesday 26th September 2017 - Back in Georgia

This morning we called into the Dukes Nuclear Power plant which is the company that created the lakes that we've just been swimming in and canoeing in for the last couple of days.  The water level on the lake can rise and fall by at least 2 feet in about 2 hours.

Next stop was Madison with a large collection of Georgian houses done in the antibellum style

Wednesday, 27th September 2017

We drove into Covington which is a town that is used for a lot of movies and TV shows such as Dukes of Hazzard, Friday 13th and Cannonball Run to name a few.  We wandered up the street looking for the various locations when we stumbled across a group of cameramen with lights.  Now it took a while to register but the penny dropped when we saw a sign saying Gary Hart for President and then on taking a closer look at the photo realised that it was Hugh Jackman.  Well now we're getting a little excited.  As we looked around you could see that the whole street was set up in eighties style and even the newspaper stands were 1980's Denver Colorado newspapers.  We watched as they did some scenes with the extras but alas no Hugh Jackman appeared.  The rumour was that he would be there later on in the afternoon.  After waiting about an hour and a half we decided to move on.  The movie by the way will be called 'Front Runner' and I guess it will probably be released next year so look out for it.
