Saturday 19th May 2018 Shell Knob Missouri - Week 3

Saturday 19th May 2018

We,ve arrived at Deb and Rogers property in Shell Knob.  What a beautiful place on a huge lake called Table Rock Lake.  We were given a bedroom in the house which was a bit of luxury after being in the motorhome for a while.

As soon as we unpacked we were off down to the lake in their Gater which is a six wheel drive all terrain vehicle made by John Deere.  Kind of like a heavy duty golf cart.  Lunch on the private dock followed by swimming and a ride in their speed boat.

Life's tough but somebodies got to do it

Sunday 20th May 2018

We drove to Kimberling docks to see a boat show followed by lunch on the pier restaurant with their friends Donna and Steve.

Following lunch we went on to 'Top of the Rock' which is a huge luxury golf resort.  Talk about flash, I got lots of lovely pictures.

This is the driving range, the golf course is nine holes and all par 3's and it's $135 to play, good value hey?

We then went to  Branson Landing which is the old part of Branson where they have trendy shops and a musical fountain show on the hour.

We ate nibblies by the fountain and then went up the 'strip' which is a mini Las Vegas type arrangement where there are lots and lots of shows on and lots and lots of tribute bands.  We went to a show called Million Dollar Quartet starring Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins.  We weren't allowed to take video or photos but it was fantastic and we even danced in the aisles.
