– The Arches NP Utah
This morning we left Canyonlands heading for our previous
destination of a couple of days ago. We
took a heap more photos of the Canyon on the way out.
We stopped at a Rock and Fossil shop in Moab, plenty to look
at but nothing we were prepared to buy.

We arrived at the Arches and asked about camping and as
usual were told the campground is full and it’s so busy you have to book 6
months in advance. We came in prepared
to stay or leave it didn’t matter. Anyway,
we got to the campground and had a talk to the host and of course he gave us a
site that people had left early from.
There are heaps of other RV’s roaming around that haven’t even
questioned what they were told. Us
Australians have more cheek than Ned Kelly and it pays off.
This is another gobsmacking place, it’s only about 50 miles
or so from Canyonlands but different again and just as dramatic. The only difference is that this place is
much more well known and there are a lot more people.
Another good campsite

As you can see we are a little impressed with Utah. We've been to the Arches in 2010 but were more than happy to come back again.
Wednesday 6th June 2018 - Island in the Sky Canyonands
This is the Schafer 4x4 trail down into the canyon, some idiot was riding his bicycle down there. Don't know how he planned on getting beck up.
