We went for a hike this morning on the hot springs trail to the source of the springs and on the way back we encountered a young black bear gorging himself in the cherry tree which was right next to where we were standing. This was very exciting for us and closer even than the first time we saw bears in Bighorn Canyon in 2010.
This is the bridge that crossed the river, it has a roof on it because of the large amount of snow they get in the winter
The forest was full of moss
We think this is a garter snake, it was very small
