We crossed the border this morning without too much difficulty apart from trying to prove we weren't in a stolen vehicle. He believed us after we showed him the insurance papers. He wanted to know how much alcohol we were bringing in which wasn't much because we had virtually run out as it is so expensive in Canada we were waiting till we got back in the US to buy more. Anyway I guess he has to ask. No one in their right mind would take it from Canada into the US, it would always be the other way round.
We've only come about 30 miles from the border to camp at Evans Campground on the shores of Lake Roosevelt. It's a nice hot day and we've sat and swam most of the day and caught up on some washing etc.
